Original WW2 era model L77 Commando Stiletto fighting knife manufactured by Western Cutlery in Boulder, CO; original scabbard included - great overall condition, considering the age. This exact type is illustrated on p 236 of KNIVES OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY WORLD WAR II book by Michael Silvey. The knife is about 11-1/4”/28.4 cm overall; fullered blade is about 6-7/8″/17.5 cm; it is razor-sharp; the tip is intact; no edge nicks on the blade. Stacked leather/colored fiber washers handle; steel guard and aluminum pommel. The pommel is tight; the guard has a tiny bit of a play. A few light contact marks on the pommel, nothing major. Original leather scabbard is included; it is obviously used, but it\'s in better than average condition for the type; the leather is soft and supple still.
