WW1 HISTORIC PRE WW1 GERMAN - BAVARIAN KING OTTO MARKED “O” RARE SAW BACK KNIFE:

PRE WW1 BAVARIAN 98/05 KING OTTO MARKED “O” RARE SAW BACK THEATER KNIFE. Condition is Used.

Shipping free priority. is a KING OTTO BAVARIAN saw back bayonet. Some interesting facts follow:

1. This is an early model with no flash guard and high ears.

2. It is marked “O” on the back of the blade as seen in picture #….6.

3. KING OTTO died in 1913 ....before the start of WW1. Thus, the “O” will appear on all blades dated 1887-1913.

4. The saw back feature was not removed completely by the allies after WW1. This one obviously had only a partial removal or it was worked over at another time.

5. The blade was cut down and fashioned into a theater knife by someone unknown.

………..NO knife is over 100 years old and in very good condition.
