WW2 Official Us Army Photos: Full Set of 20 Black & White Photos, plus 163-21 showing leaflet drop from JapanThese 20 photos portray events from the Okinawa Campaign in 1945 WWII, Pacific Theater. The bottom of the photos have a short description on the left, and \"US Army Photo\" on the right, with the US Army number assigned to the photo. Photos are numbered 163-1 through 163-20=1.
Highlights: Japanese suicide plane. Returning wounded. Hari-kari. Japanese Children. Assault wave on Okinawa. Japanese soldier surrender. #21 is a photo of a Japanese propoganda leaflet dropped to American soldiers.
Condition: Photos are in nice condition. Text is clear and readable. Some photos have slight curve. Back of all photos have black paper residue, from old album removal (see last photo). Photos will be placed in individual soft clear acid-free sleeves for shipping, and shipped in a cardboard box for protection.
