A superb, surviving mint & unissued example ofa World War Two German Home Front postcard celebrating Wehrmacht Doctors(Arzte) in Action in FieldHospitals on the Russian Front in 1942.
Measuring approx 6\" x 4\" and produced by E. Baensch jun. AG Magdeburg and released through the Reichsgesundheitsverlag (Reich Health Publishers) the card features a superb painting of a German Army doctor (Arzt) treating a wounded soldier in a makeshift medical centre on The Russian front in 1942.
Originally painted by German War artist Karl Blossfeld this series of art-cards were issuedas a propagandamoral-booster for those at home manning the GermanHome Front.
