WW2 German Pickelhaube miniature police Shako metal cap policeman hat head gear:

1930s style German police Shako
Miniature helmet on a plated base.
The base is convex and the helmet is attached with small nuts underneath. The round base has a round ring insert inside that comes apart and is not attached. The ring has a stamped mark on the exterior which may be the symbol of police forces of lower Saxony, the mark it is difficult to make out. Helmet and pieces are lavishly plated.
Possibly a part of an award
Good condition with patina and some wear and light oxidation. The star on the front of the helmet has worn details.
