Rectangular canvas bag with zipper and snap compartments, both zipper and snap are tight but do work. Hand painted red cross, and lettering reads: “kit, first aid aeronautic U.S.”. In overall good condition for its age, some stains on exterior. Partial contents included: eye dressings set (only lubrications), iodine box (partial), 2 bottles water purification tablets (Empires Findings Co. Long Island N.Y.), scissors with original paper sheath, small bottle in wooden case (unknown contents). Contents are age appropriate but may have been added during the period and may not be original of the issued kit. For display or collection only, vintage items not intended for use.
