This lighter came from an estate here on theCentral Coast of California along with another WW1 item that I recently sold in a separate sale here on .

Likely French or Belgian, heavy solid brass construction. Handmade, nice quality work. Top fits perfectly and comes off and goes on easily. Signed “Guesne”on bottom as shown.Additional very faint cursive letters can be seen on sides.Flint wheel comes out to filllighter with fluid. The flint wheel spins freely, the flint and spring are present. Wadding inside tank is clean and full.Will need some tinkering to light but everything is there and in good shape.
