Winston Churchill\'s Pig becomes a weighty bookend \"I like pigs: cats look down on human beings, dogs look up to them, but pigs just treat us as their equals.\" This delightful quote of Winston Churchill\'s hangs on the wall at his country home of Chartwell, where he indulged his love of four-legged creatures. (None of his farm animals ever turned up on the dining table, though. \"I cannot eat any animal that I have said \'good morning\' to,\" he explained.) We have now immortalized the quote on this sculpture by the British artist Jon Bickley, who fashioned the pig from drawings that Sir Winston made. \"Pig\" was the pet name that Churchill\'s wife, Clementine, gave her husband. She was Kat, and you\'ll see a small cat on the base, which resembles a brick. Bricklaying was another of Churchill\'s pet projects.
