Antique Covered Candy Bowl Dish Compote by Gillinder - WESTWARD HO!

This is a very heavy very old lidded dish. I bought it over 30 years ago at an estate sale. I liked the old mold marks in the glass and the interesting figure on the lid.

ANTIQUE EAPG WESTWARD HO HISTORICAL GLASS COMPOTE BY GILLINDER - EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS IN THE WESTWARD HO PATTERN BY GILLINDER. THE COMPOTE IS APPX. 7” WIDE AND 9” TALL. American Indian figure on lid. THE COMPOTE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. The figure and bottom part of the dish are frosted glass. Shown in repousse in the glass are deer (maybe elk?), Buffalo, a cabin, mountains and trees in the background. I’ve never seen another like it! Enjoy!
