WESTERN BOULDER COLO # 648 USA - (1928-31) -PEACH BONE - RARE TANG: This is another knife from my father-in-law\'s cottage in hunting camp, funny thing is I found it while we were doing the cleanout in the cooking utensils. Probably part of the reason it looks like it does and is in that condition. When you something in the kitchen typically gets washed and white dry. It is truly a fine in my opinion, one that I thought about keeping. You can keep them all and I\'m not a Western collector (not a collector of any kind really more of an accumulator) it belongs with somebody who is. Great knife no sheath unfortunately but great knife.
I\'ve had to insert this more lately unfortunately: If you have constructive information to offer, even critical information to offer please do, I will insert it in the description or modify the listing if proven correct. Typically, I use three different sources to age/id knives and condition. I can give you those three sources if you\'re interested. Another point brought up recently is \"why so shiny\" I use Case XX polishing paste, and Renaissance wax to avoid corrosion, dry out and to keep my surfaces in excellent collector condition, if you don\'t like that process don\'t offer.
