The 709 Thraex model from WeKnives is a fantastic knife and, in our opinion, one of the best tacticalfolders on the market. If you prefer large, tactical knives for daily carry orknow someone in law enforcement or the military, this knife would suit themperfectly. The gorgeous tactical tanto blade shape is outdone by the ergonomiccontoured G10 handle creating a design that is both beauty and beast. This isan amazingly feature-laden knife for its price point—it really feels like everyother We Knife yet costs less than half as much.

The 3.94\" tanto blade ismade from D2 tool steel with a black stonewashed finish, blood groove, andperfectly jimped thump ramp. It absolutely flies out of the handle with littlepressure on the flipper tab since it rides on ceramic bearings with a nice,reassuring thwack upon lockup. The ergonomic, aesthetically pleasing handle ismade from milled black G10 with a liner lock mechanism and custom hardware. Theslight curvature to the handle and perfectly designed thumb ramp lock it intoyour hand perfectly for extended hard use cutting tasks. Its size makes itsuitable for use with gloved hands and the liner lock mechanism is very easy toaccess. The pocket clip, milled backspacer with integral lanyard hole, screws,and pivot cap are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance. This is anexcellent tactical design that can flex into an EDC role easily and effectivelywith a price point well below its quality level.
