WATERMAN'S IDEAL 12 fountain pen

Ancient fountain pen WATERMAN'S IDEAL brown body with micro wave engravings and gold laminated circle, charging with new internal refill bag with internal break to be restored to which adhesive tape has been placed to test the functioning, the pen even if with this primitive system it works with suction manual in internal refill bag, non-original nib that writes as photo.

The pen is datable 1903 one of the first pens invented and built in the United States by the brilliant Edson Waterman who, thanks to communicating vessels and capillarity, invented the writing body with the internal refill bag, eliminating the problem of dipping the ink into the inkwell that was in use until that moment!
