WALT DISNEY’S UNCLE SCROOGE ADVENTURES #18 (December, 1989) - Features "That's No Fable!" Written & illustrated by Carl Barks. Cover by Don Rosa. 36 pages. Original cover price was 95 cents. From a solicitation description: “Scrooge and the boys tell Grandma about a trip to Florida they took with Donald a few months previously, where they found Poncey de Loon's fountain of youth. "Merchant to the Stars," script by Patsy Trench (plot), Dave Angus (script), and Geoffrey Blum (script), art by Daniel Branca; Scrooge and the nephews try to sell computers and other technology to the natives of other planets. "Feather Forecast," script by Bob Foster, inks by Frank Smith; Scrooges checks the price of his goose-feather stock.”; and
WALT DISNEY’S UNCLE SCROOGE ADVENTURES #19 (January, 1990) - Cover art by Don Rosa. 36 pages. Original cover price was 95 cents. [Solicitation description]: “"A Stitch In Time," script by Patsy Trench (plot), Tom Anderson (script), and Geoffrey Blum (US script), art by Daniel Branca; There's little demand for a warehouse of silk that Scrooge is trying to sell, so he has Gyro send him and the boys back to Medieval times in a time machine to try and sell it there; He finds that inflation has ruined that plan; Later he decides to go 400 years into the future but finds all his goods outdated. "Blinders gag," script and art by Carl Barks; Donald keeps buying bargain gadgets he doesn't need. "Tricky Experiment" starring Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Beagle Boys, script and art by Carl Barks.”
Condition of both issues is Very Fine/Near Mint or better. Both are new & never read. The #19 has a 3 3/8” fold crease at the top left corner of the back cover. Please see photos.
