The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a metal painted paperweight by Union Steamships, Ltd, Vancouver, CA. advertisement. The ship itself may be painted, not sure. Same color as under the base. The outside of base has a seafoam like color. Says on front Union Steamships Ltd and Vancouver Ca on backside. There are some wear areas on the green, in letters edges, and corners; due to age/use. Dirt in crevices. Nicks in the green paint in spots, wear, age coloring on ship. There could be wear spots in metal of the ship; blue trim area of smokestacks. Could be pitting, scratches. A flesh paint spot on underside ridge. Age related wear. See all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned, but mentioned most significant. Measures 5.75" X 2" X 1.75".
