This vintage pistol holster is a rare find for collectors of WW2 memorabilia. Made by Milwaukee Saddlery Co in 1944, it is an original piece that holsters the 1911 colt 45 ACP. The holster is crafted from leather. The stitching, specifically on the bottom has broken as shown in the pictures. This item appears to have Mink Oil or leather conditioner on it to preserve the leather. It looks like the top where the slide of the 1911 would be has some darker colored and cracked leather. It does appear that the leather conditioner has made this area more supple than it was when it was dry and cracked. Please review all pictures and ask any questions before purchasing.
