We purchased this vintage El Palomar Mexico pottery set in Mexico in the late 1960s and have enjoyed displaying it ever since. It is a true treasure for collectors and enthusiasts alike, and it showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of Mexican culture.
The set includes a handmade, hand painted child/demitasse set of cups and saucers in light gray with beautiful Guadalajara cobalt blue color rims.The two serving plates are light gray with Guadalajara cobalt blue rims and a matching cobalt blue medallion. Included are 14 pieces--6 cups, 6 saucers, and 2 serving plates. The set is signed by El Palomar and has since purchase had one sole owner. It is a rare find for those looking to add to their pottery collection. Perfect for display or use, this set is sure to be a conversation starter.
Condition note: one saucer has a slight rough spot on its blue rim.
