Offered here is vintage Native American beaded wall hanging or talisman, hand constructed entirely from seed beads on a stiff backing with natural fiber (hemp?) hanger. It consists of three slightly convex circles (4", 3" and 2" in diameter) on which a black and white star design was made on a stiff substrate. The backing layer is unknown, but in excellent condition and the hand-stitching of the backing is tight with no wily threads. Small beaded 'ruffle' around each circle. Beaded connectors are black with red, green and yellow design, and there are black and white dangles below. 12" overall, not including the fiber hanger. No soiling, no loose or missing beads that I'm able to detect. I may have repaired a tiny or reinforced a tiny area many years ago, but I can't remember where and it's been hard to find. I purchased it years ago and have had it tucked away in my 'special' drawer, but it's time for it to find a new home.
