Vtg Louis XVI French Style Porcelain Brass Bouillotte Triple Branch Table Lamps.
Excellent pair of Louis XVI French style brass bouillotte triple branch table lamps. They are heavy and have a 3-way switch allowing use of 1 light, 2 lights, or all 3 lights. The added handpainted floral porcelain final and candle holder cups gives these such an elegant distinctive look.
Lights like this were made by various manufacturers, including Baldwin. These are likely mid 20th century (1940 - 1999) but in an earlier style of the 18th century.
Bouillote was a card game so presumably, such lights were originally used on a games table in France at this time with candles (you can see the simulated candle tops on your lamps).
Pre-owned they come in like new condition.
