Vtg Japanese Kanzashi Hair Stick Black Painted 3 \"Fan\" On Metal Lacquer Traditional Japanese Hair Ornaments Japanese Hair Pin This hair comb is from our large collection of vintage hair accessories. Many are listed in our Shop. Beautifully hand painted in tradional Japanese Chrysanthemum flower pattern, front and back. The colors are amazing. Attatched with tiny pieces of metal to form and bend the 3 \"fans\". The Kanzashi is 7\" long. Each \"fan\" is 2 3/4\". Fantastic, hand painted, piece of art.One of a kind. These stick type Kanzashi are called Fubako-gata Kogai. Kogai is especially used for Japanese old-time traditional hair style called \"Nihongami\". All pieces are made from wood and covered by Japanese traditional lacquer, Urushi together with beuatiful Makie decoration. Excellent condition.
