Charming, gestural rendering of a stylish vanity corner brings color and panache to your bath.

Presented by Creazioni Luciano, a leading Italian art tile house since 1955, the larger, (11 x 5 1/4") tile features a lively rendition of a curvy, Victorian-looking bath vanity topped by a shelving unit surrounded by elaborate. swirling scrollwork.

Color is a major player in the beautiful composition. From the fresh grass green of the background, to the powerful navy floor, to the sky blue counter with its lavender sink and lemon faucets, the vibrant, unexpected pops and swaths of color add freshness and vitality.

The piece, which has a slight relief reminiscent of cloisonné, is solid and in very good to excellent vintage condition. I find one chip on the right edge of the tile and a miniscule flea bite on the left. Both are shown in the photos.

There are no other chips, and I find no cracks, crazing, fading or any other signs of wear. Hanging hardware is attached as shown.

Although unmarked, this piece came with with a similarly styled tile ( the other piece is related thematically, also for sale and shown in the photos), which is marked Creazioni Luciano. More info on the company can be found here. •
