These are SO INTERESTING. 2 hand painted half horses with saddles. They are made from vintage maybe antiquitarian wood blocks. The paint is clearly newer than the wood. The artist used the repurposed wood (with 2 giant holes for its original purpose) as the body of the horse and added old wood as the legs and saddle horn.
One horse is larger than the other, but look good as a mismatched (but also matching) set.
They stand up on their own and I was thinking that they could be even used as bookends.
