This intricately designed and carved wooden box has \"HONDURAS\" carved into the front left side at the bottom. The top, front and both ends are carved with great detail. The finish on it is beautiful and highlighted with color in areas, but I do not know what wood it is made from. It measures about 7\" long, 4 1/2\" deep and 4 3/4\" high.. There are no chips or damage, but there is an uneven crack across the back piece that appears to have been there since it was made as it is under the stain or varnish. I do not know.
