This vintage FrenchArt Nouveau Solid Bronze Pinecones Letter Opener is perfect for your desk,display cabinet, and collection. It measures 8-3/8” long, 1-1/8” at its widest,and 3/8” in depth. It is in excellent condition. It is signed (vaguely) on thefront by French artist JANETO (R.Janeto), who created a small number of highly collectable letter openers in theearly 1900s. The detail of the pinecones and needles are superb, and itincludes an integrated loop at the end. It is a heavy, solid cast piece and candouble as a paperweight. See the pics.
