Subject: Crossed golden swords with red, white and blue ribbons and a large numeral \"4\" in gilded gold. The background is divided horizontally into strips of red, white and dark blue.

  • Color scheme: Red, White & Blue with gilded gold accents.
  • Verse: \"Then ring the bells and fire the guns, And fling the starry banner out!\"
  • Symbolism: Crossed swords with the points down mean the battle is over (Revolutionary War.)
  • Printed on front: Painting Only Copyrighted by The International Art Pub. Co.; date looks like 1911.
  • Printed on back: IAP logo, \"New York Berlin, Printedin Germany\" and \"Series No. 2936.\"
  • Details: Unused with no marks, artist signed, embossed.
