Vtg. Circa 1950s Raylite Musical & Mechanical Stained Glass Window w/ Angels:

This is a true vintage circa 1940s / 1950s Christmas treasure - a mechanical and musical opening and closing stained glass window with silver angel window shutters. It was manufactured by Raylite Electric Corp. of New York City and distributed by Paramount. When you turn the knob a few times, the window plays a beautiful little rendition of Silent Night and the silver shutters slowly open to reveal a wonderful Nativity scene, and then slowly close as the song plays. Meanwhile, the little bulb screws into place in the plastic housing on the back of the unit and backlights the scene. The details on the images in the nativity and the molded angels on the window shutters are beautiful. Just a fabulous, fabulous piece of vintage Christmas decoration. As noted in the pics, we also have its original box, and it will ship inside of that box (and then inside of a second box).
