This Vintage Brass & Bevelled Glass Jewellery/Trinket Box or Miniature Display case is hinged and has a chain to hold the lid.

It is most likely from the 1960’s or possibly the 1970’s and most likely came from Japan.

The Box is rectangle in shape with heavy set glass that has Bevelled edges on the top giving it an added decorative appeal.

It has a round brass knob for ease of lifting the lid.

There are four round original black pads on the bottom for scratch resistant purposes.

One if the hinges has opened over time and the original pin has fallen out, I have replaced the pin and I have reclosed the hinge to the best of my ability (it works!)

There is some wear and tear and patina commensurate with the age of this Trinket Box, there is also some light surface marks on the glass.

There is a small amount of dust that has made its way into some areas , however it is not detrimental to its aesthetic and it is still in a fairly good vintage condition.

It is not perfect , the lid is slightly elevated on the left side , however this shouldn’t be a deal breaker on this lovely vintage Box.

The Brass has wear and tear also , this only adds to its vintage providence .

This Lovely Miniature Display Box/Trinket Box/Jewellery Box would suit a Boho,Shabby Chic/CottageCore,Hollywood Regency,Chinoiserie ,MCM, Coquette Style interior and would look lovely as a display on a Dresser,Vanity,Bedside Table,Shelf etc.
