This gorgeous neodymium / alexandrite glass vase maybe be from Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d/Arte, but I doubt it. When researching I found several examples of this very same vase ranging in price from $75-$200 all claiming this was a Flavio design from the 50s. But no one could back it up with either a sticker label or picture from a catalog or book. I like Italian glass, I like to pick it up at estate sales and then resell the glass on . I have the Marc Heiremans Seguso Vetri D\'Arte Glass Objects From Murano (1932-1973) and could not find this shape in this book. The closest to this ovid-shape vase comes to being an actual Flavio Poli design is on page 140 model #11796 and then on page 148 model #12029 in both cases you might have the shape except it does not have the 4 flat oval cuts. So, what we have here is a \"wanna-be\" art glass vase from Murano. It\'s a really nice layered Alexandrite art glass vase that is approx. 5-inches tall and has a polished base. It\'s in excellent condition without any chips, nicks, cracks, etc. If you have any questions regarding this, just send me an email.
