RARE FIND in a Pretty in Pink Vintage 1950\'s Cotton Border Print Flour Sack / Pillow Slip / Cafe Curtain Fabric in a 78\" Long Uncut Piece - 2\" yards x 36\" selvage width
A host of lovely upcycled uses for this charming fabric! It would make into a lovely summer boho top or skirt, or a child\'s sweet dress! Very sweet cottage core!
Border print flour sack cotton fabric was most often was sewn into bags for flour and sometimes sugar, and then recycled into pillow slips back in the day. This is a rare long piece that was never cut up or used for either. It is as it was when pulled from the bolt. It features a wide border of Daisies and Roses in Shades of Pink with Smaller Blue Forget-Me-Nots and Olive Green Stems. The large topside field of the fabric above the wide band of flowers features smaller broadcast same color flowers, and the lower bottom field side features a mini single light pink tiny daisy broadcast over the white cotton background.
Measures: 36\" wide x 78\" long all one piece. The floral band runs the entire \"length\" of the piece.
Great collectible vintage fabric. Excellent condition and lovely border print in girlie-girl feminine pinks with just little bits of accent blue and green on white. All one piece. Vintage stashed fabric without any smoke odor.
