Vintage pre-1990 figurine of an Erzgebirge wood worker in the Ore Mountains

Featuring a pipe smoking wood carver clad in leather apron & cap surrounded by the tools of his trade carved in great detail.

It is made of wood and features carvings, a wooden base, lathe and hand-painted details. The style is traditional and the finish is natural

It is a handmade original piece from East Germany (GDR) and would make a great addition to any collection of Erzgebirge handcrafted Very Good Pre-owned Condition, a bit dusty from displaying

*Missing a hand(hazard of the job😉) not noticeable at first glance & could easily be replaced with a small ball of clay,wood putty?
