For your consideration is this vintage 1946 Singer Featherweight model 221 portable electric sewing machine with original travel case.Sewing machine measures approximately 15 1/2\" long x 7\" wide x 10\" tall. Marked with a serial number of AG874567. Case measures approx. 13\" x 9\" x 13\" tall.This is vintage and pre-owned; Estate found. Looks great especially for its age. We plugged it in and it fires up nice and powerful (video above), however we cannot seem to get it to turn off or stop; It could potentially be due to user error on our part or a stuck foot pedal,But either way it will need some repairs/adjustments by the new owner,There is normal wear/tear and weathering/discoloration throughout the sewing machine and travel case that is consistent with their age and regular use, including (but not limited to) some marks/abrasions and discoloration. There is a small paint splotch at the top of the piece. Functionality of the sewing machine has not been tested past it successfully firing up. Case has some rips/tear in the edges of the outside.
