Vtg 1940's Westinghouse 4 Blade Oscillating Fan 2 Speed 10PA WORKS but GETS HOT:

Hard to find Westinghouse 2-speed oscillating desk or wall mount fan. It works strongly and smoothly on both speeds but the base and motor get very hot to touch after it has run for awhile. It has been rewired with a basic cord so perhaps that is contributing to the hot motor? The paint finish has wear and the blades have wear as well. The tilt is adjustable and the oscillation can be stopped with the knob on top. It measures approximately 14" to the top of the cage and 11" diameter across the cage.
