VINTAGE MONTY MOUSETRAP ENGLISH BONE CHINA CUP BY DELPHINE CIRCA 1930s. AWESOME CHILD'S CUP OR MUG FROM THE 30s. THE MARK INDICATES IT WAS MADE IN LANGSTON, STAFFORDSHIRE BETWEEN 1930 AND 1941 BY THE JH MIDDLETON CO. IT MEASURES 3 3/8 INCHES HIGH AND 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THE HANDLE IS SHAPED LIKE A BEAR CUB ON SIDE SHOWS A MOTHER HEN TRAILED BY SEVERAL BABY CHICKS.

MAKERS LABEL IS STILL ATTACHED ON SIDE ABOVE THE HEN. MAY BE PARTIALLY PEELED OFF. NOT SURE IF IT IS ALL THERE OR NOT.

THE OTHER SIDE IS THE MOUSE KNOWN AS MONTY MOUSETRAP. VINTAGE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT. BOTTOM EDGE HAS SOME SLIGHT DARK RUBS. NOT VISIBLE FROM TOP JUST WHERE IT WOULD SIT ON TABLE. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. LOOKS TO HAVE NEVER BEEN USED. I WOULD SAY IT IS IN NEARLY MINT CONDITION. A FANTASTIC COLLECTOR'S ITEM.
