Vtg 1907 LGBTQI Romance Postcard Cross-Dressing Let’s Get Together UDB Bamforth:

This antique postcard from 1907 features an LGBTQI romance scene with two individuals in Edwardian outfits with one sitting on a park bench with a fountain in the background. The postcard was published by Bamforth & Co Ltd and is an original lithograph print on cardboard paper with an undivided back. It has been posted before and is in standard size (5.5 x 3.5 in).

The postcard is a unique piece of LGBTQI history and would make a great addition to any collection. It is a perfect example of the type of romance postcards that were popular during the Edwardian era. Own a piece of history with this vintage postcard.

I had to do research before I posted this card, because I do not want to perpetuate old stereotypes. It seems this company made a lot of postcards that portray cross-dressing and they do not appear to me, to be demeaning. There are none that I saw that editorialized. I realize the lady is laughing, but it does not seem to me to be inappropriate.
