Description
Up for sale is a lot of two political campaign poster boards which feature famed radio host personality Enrique Santos (who's most noted claim to fame was prank calling both Hugo Chávez and later Fidel Castro). These poster boards are from his 2005 election campaign against incumbent mayor Manny Diaz. Both of these boards are a testament (or a time capsule) from this particular moment in history.
The poster boards were both glued back to back with each other as they were hung up on a wall using some wall anchors and some screws (which are not included). This of course, would explain the perforation marks that adorn just about each corner of both boards. They were both hung up in a garage for quite some time and collected quite a bit of dust on them, however, with some Clorox wipes and some elbow grease, most of that dust accumulation was eliminated.
There are, however, some scuff marks that can be still be seen, mostly on the corners and some slight graphic finish that has flaked off in some areas, but it's only very minor. There are two poster boards in this lot; one with a blue background and the other with a reddish/pink backdrop to it. Both of them contain roughly the same exact wording, with the only slight difference between the two being the placement of the words. Both of the boards measure approximately 48 & 1/4" wide and are about 24" tall (the reddish/pink one is a little shorter... but roughly the same). Combined both of these boards measure about 1/4" thick. I do not recommend trying to split them apart, as they were both glued pretty tightly together. This is basically a conversation piece to display on a wall with the added ability to change it up from time to time.
