The album consists of 20 sheets with photographs,as well as 23 handmade drawings depicting Russian and Soviet ships,in total - 148 original photos.

The title page of the album is beautifully decorated: it is covered with a bright red fabric, has overlays with images of the flags of the Soviet Union and the Navy, as well as metal overlays with the image of anchors, the abbreviation of the Northern Fleet of the USSR and the names of the anti-submarineship \"Boyky\" (\"Бойкий\").

The owner of the album served in the Soviet Navy infrom 1981-1984in theanti-submarine ship \"Boykiy\".

\"Boykiy\" is a project 57-bis destroyer built for the Soviet Navy in the late 1950s. In 1966 she was reclassified as a large rocket ship. In 1972 she was reclassified as a large anti-submarine ship. Passed modernization under the project 57-A.

July 8, 1959 \"Boyky\" was included in the lists of ships of the Navy of the USSR and April 2, 1959 was laid down at the Nikolaev Shipyard No. 445 (serial number 1403) under project 57-bis. December 15, 1959 launched. Entered service June 26, 1961.

On October 14, 1961, the ship became part of the Black Sea Fleet of the USSR Navy. May 19, 1966 \"Boyky\" was reclassified into a large missile ship. In the period from 6 to 11 August 1966 \"Boyky\" paid a visit to Alexandria (Egypt). From 15 to 20 February 1969 he was in Conakry (Guinea), and from 5 to 10 October - in Lagos (Nigeria).

On June 8, 1970, the destroyer was transferred to the Red Banner Northern Fleet. In the period from October 23, 1970 to April 6, 1973, Boyky was modernized and rebuilt according to project 57-A at the Shipyard named after 61 Communards in Nikolaev. On November 2, 1972, she was transferred from a subclass of large missile ships to a subclass of large anti-submarine ships.

In the period from November 12 to 17, 1974, together with the same type ship BOD \"Zorkiy\", which at that time was a visiting ship and was visiting under the flag of the commander of the KSF, and the BOD \"Boyky\" was a support ship, visited Oslo (Norway). From May 12 to May 17, 1975, together with the same type ship BOD \"Burning\", where BOD \"Boikiy\" was a visiting ship and sailed under the flag of the formation commander, and BOD \"Burning\" was a support ship, visited Boston, Massachusetts (USA).

In 1983, \"Boyky\" took part in the testing of nuclear weapons at the test site on. Novaya Zemlya in the Matochkin Shar Strait. In 1983, during the tests, an emergency situation arose.

In 1984, BOD \"Boyky\" took part in the testing of neutron weapons at the above range.

The main part of the ship\'s crew from the test site (1983-84) was evacuated, with the exception of the composition of the emergency rescue group for special purposes.

Most of the people who took part in the work of the emergency rescue group for special purposes were recognized as Veterans of special risk units.

On February 9, 1988, the destroyer was expelled from the USSR Navy. On July 17, 1988, the Boykoy crew was disbanded. In the fall of 1988, the ship was sold to a Spanish company for cutting into metal, but on the way from the Kola Bay to El Ferrol, on November 14, 1988, a strong storm was thrown onto the coastal rocks near Skogsoya Island in the Norwegian Sea.
