This beautiful wall plaque depicts the Madonna and child and is made of resin. Based on my research, I believe this item was made in Italy; however, it has no markings. It is a vintage item and is in good condition. There are a few places where the paint has worn off on her headscarf and a tiny bit in her hair (captured in the close up photos). These imperfections can be touched up with a marker or colored pencil. I have not cleaned this item, but I think it can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The face of the Virgin Mary is rather stunning, and it immediately caught my eye with its serene look and lovely eyes.
