Floral fragrances have always been popular. That is why immediately after the war, or rather in 1946-1947, young perfumers from the Northern Lights factory created new perfumes that reproduced the smell of lilac familiar to many from childhood.
The appearance of this fragrance was an event in the life of the USSR. Perfume was called "White Lilac". A perfume set with the same name was also produced. Initially, the White Lilac (Northern Lights) perfume set included White Lilac perfume, White Lilac powder and White Lilac cologne. Later, in the 1960s, powder disappeared from the perfume set, leaving only perfume and cologne.

The creator of the fragrance is perfumers B. L. Gutzeit, I. G. Wolfson.
