An antique or vintage full-size replica of Queen Victoria's "Small Diamond Crown" that she wore over her widow's cap. I don't know if this was made when Victoria was in mourning, or if it was made after her death, but this replica has been around some time, it is not a modern item. The crown is just over 6 inches tall and approximately 5 inches diameter at the bottom. Queen Victoria's original crown did not have an internal cap because it was worn on top of her widow's cap - this replica has a red velvet internal cap that is currently stitched in at the bottom, and I personally think the red background makes it stand out. A velvet covered stand is included. There is loss to some of the smaller stones and 2 small strips of metal trim to the ball on top, and some age discoloration to the metal.
