This is a vintage (or possibly antique?) cast iron frog, which was painted green. Some of the paint has worn off - take a look at the images to see where that's happened. It weighs a fair bit and could be used as a paperweight, an accent to your doorstep, put in a large flower pot/planter or set at the side of your Koi pond. It's charming and weighty (almost 10 ounces) for it's small size.
