Despite mass production, this vintage item is getting pretty rare in new condition, and more valuable each year, yet still affordable enough to just give to your child to play with. NEW ones from the 1990s are getting difficult to find at any price, and well-used ones are getting scarce. At the time of listing, mine was one of only a few brand new examples of this vintage listed. In any event, mine is new AND I\'m undercutting ALL the other new ones, along with many of the used ones, so it\'s a deal! Check for yourself! Great collectible!

This item, along with others I have listed on , came from my mother\'s climate-controlled, smoke-free home. She had it in her mind to collect Barbie dolls and other collectibles like this one as an investment for my daughters. She had a lot of fairly common items, along with a few fairly rare ones. Mostly collected between 1985 and 2002. Sadly, even after thirty-plus years, they didn\'t turn out to be any kind of \"investment.\" We discovered them, along with many other collectibles, when she passed and we cleaned out her home. As she would have wanted, the proceeds of the sales of all her collectibles will go towards her beloved granddaughter\'s education fund.
