\'15/16\' x \'1\' double-ended open wrench
Model1033C
Manufactured for the Sears Craftsman line of tools; but not sure which company made it
The CRAFTSMAN underline trademark/logo is forged into one side of the shank, along with \'N4\'
\'FORGED IN U.S.A.\' is forged into the other side of the shank, along with \'C1\'
The above forged marks are in gently-sloped, depressed panels on each side of the shank
One face has \'15/16\' stamped on it
The face on the other end has \'1\' stamped on it
The face on the other side of the \'1\' has \'1033C\'stamped on it
\'5\' and \'6\' are also stamped very faintly around the \'1\'; I don\'t know what they mean
I think the markings on the faces are stamped, not forged; but I am not sure
The wrench is a little over 10 inches long, and weighs a little over 13 ounces
The finish is plain steel
According to the Alloy Artifacts website, the lack of a \'Vanadium\' forge mark and the presence of the \'C1\' and \'N4\' forge marks suggest this wrench was produced during WWII; but I am not certain
If correct, then this wrench is certainly vintage, if not actually antique

Condition:

Terrific old-tool patina
The finish has normal, expected wear for a tool this old
There are (minor) rust spots andscratches, but no pitting I could see
Jaws at each end are fairly well-defined
Will definitely function as designed
Had to slightly clean faces so the stampings were visible; otherwise, left as is

This item would make a terrific addition to any vintage-tool or Craftsman-tool collection.
