Vintage Woods Ware Wood & Sons English Scenery Decorative Plate: $9.99
This lovely Delft Blue-style plate is 11 inches in diameter and was produced by England's Wood & Sons under the moniker Woods Ware. The front has an image of an horse drawn buggy, a thatched roof cottage, and a few people working. It's a scene of country living, with what appears to be a church or some sort of steeple off in the distance.
On the back, there's a stamp from Wood & Sons and information about the plate, as well as a sticker marking its previous owner, the Sony Prop House in Los Angeles.. It's a must for any British ceramics or vintage and antique enthusiast.
