For sale is a rare, vintage 1948 souvenir building replica model of the Wisconsin State Capitol. Compare Monumental Miniatures # 1281.
It is made of off-white plaster or chalkware and measures: 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 7/8 to the tip of the intact dome. Later versions were made of resin.
Overall it is in very good used condition with only a few small nicks around the dome and hardly visible -- see photos.
According to my research these were made by veterans at the The Grand Army Home for Veterans, in King, Wisconsin.Shipping includes insurance and signature tracking (to minimize thepossibilityof loss to \'porch pirates\').
