It\'s a hot day, so you go to the fridge to grab an ice-cold bottle of beer or soft drink. But when you go to open the metal cap, you can\'t find your hand-held bottle opener. Sigh! Well, this item will solve your woe! This sturdy aluminum wall mounted bottle opener was made by a company called Progressus from West Germany. This is vintage since the wall came down in Germany. It is purported to have been made in the 1960s. I did look up the meaning of Progressus. The Latin meaning is \"to advance or go forward\". So I guess it\'s another word for progress. Since this item is made of aluminum means it won\'t rust. It has a nice shine to it and is in very good condition. It is around 3\" long. There is even one original mounting screw with washer left.
