USS President Adams (AP-38/APA-19) was a President Jackson-class attack transport of the United States Navy, named for John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the second and sixth Presidents of the United States.
The first document is an actual menu for the crew of the U. S. S. Adams for Christmas of 1945 and the second document is a type written report to the crew from the Executive Officer, LT. L.R. Leonard from the U.S.S. Adams titled \"Plan of the Day\" for Tuesday, January 1st, 1946.....it also shows crew promotions.
