Note man with an arm tattoo near tree in middle of photo ~ captioned in the image but some information difficult to decipher; possibly name of photographer lower left in Olangapo

The U.S. Navy hadrebuilt the town of Olongapoafter its destruction in World War II and made it part of the Naval StationSubic Bay. The commanding officer of Naval Station Subic Bay served as thechairman of the town council, school board, hospital board, and all othergoverning bodies.
