Vintage, Wilardy, Mid-Century Modern, (1940’s - 1960's), clear, heavy, lucite, diamond/star etched, storage box, jewelry box/display case/chest/container/organizer, with removable, separate, inner compartments.

Stunning statement piece!

Beautiful display case for coffee table, dining area, bath, jewelry storage - multiple uses. Famed designer Will Hardy, designer/creator of Wilardy Originals - lucite, high-end handbags purses, also created some other collectible, lucite products (see last photo).

One-of-a-kind, rectangular chest measures 15" wide x 8" height x 4.5" deep. Inside depth is 4".

Chest has rounded sides, diamond, criss-cross cut/etched outside, an Art Deco, half moon opener, that lifts the top cover open, smooth interior, with removable, clear, compartment separator, which creates 7 compartments - 3 larger compartments in front, 4 in back. Weighs 5.5 lbs. Silver, metal bracket connects lid to case in back, with "Wilardy" engraved in center.

Some slight “snowiness” around inside bottom edge. Truly Fabulous!
