Vintage Vietnam War Official Navy Photo Dated April 26th, 1966:

This is an original photo from the US Navy during the Vietnam War. The photographer of this photo is Jim Falk who was one of the pioneers in Vietnam Journalism. He is best known for being one of the first to carry a camera into battle during this area. He served in the Navy for 20 years before retiring in 1974. The photo is dated April 26th 1966, and the caption on the picture reads as follows, "South Vietnam...Navy Corpsman Ervin Bostick is assigned to the 2nd Bn.,9th Regt., US Marines. Bostick accompanies Marines on patrol, treating both U.S. and South Vietnamese casualties. The Marine unit that Bostick is accompanying takes a break during Operation Georgia, a search and destroy sweep of the An Koa area in the I corps."
