This jacket will ship with signature confirmation and insurance on the package.For sale is an incredibly rare and very hard to find piece of American war/conflict history. This is not just a piece of vintage clothing history but also a valuable artifact from one of the most controversial conflicts in U.S.history. Many American Vietnam War soldiers would purchase these souvenir jackets in Vietnam prior to returning home to the states. They would then wear these jackets as a way to commemorate their time overseas. This jacket is almost 60 years old, but it is in amazing, museum quality condition with very little sign of age. There are a few light stains on the silver silky interior lining, and the zipper was put in backward for some reason, but that is truly about all of the issues with this beautiful vintage jacket. The hand-sewn patches are all about near perfect with excellent vivid color. The black jacket shows no signs of fading, tears or rips in the material. The interior lining does not have any tears or holes in it. The original buttons on the sleeves are both still attached. The zipper works and zips all the way up to the top neck area. This jacket is a part of a rich history that is getting harder and harder to come by as most have been discarded or stuffed a locker in an attic or basement to rot away. It is a small to medium fit.This comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
