The antique brass inkwell with pen tray is from the late 1800's and done in the Empire style with 2 griffin either side of the inkwell .A rectangular desk piece that is 8 1/2" wide and 6" deep.4 small feet lift it slightly off the surface. Great detail to all sides .No maker's marks .With a bettr looking glass inkwell, this piece will look SO much better.
